Tampa Police officers are actively searching for three suspects involved in an armed robbery at the Play Pen Gentlemen's Club at approximately 4:40 a.m. on October 15th. The incident started when one of the suspects stole a gold chain from a patron inside the club causing a struggle to break out. During the fight, the other two suspects pushed the door attendant and stole money out of the tip jar and cash register. The club's security guard followed the suspects out of the business. The suspects noticed the security guard and began to shoot at him. The victim along with another club patron who was also armed returned gunfire at the suspects. The suspects entered a Chevy Impala and fled the area.

During the gunfire exchange, a bullet brazed the security guard, however, he did not require medical attention. Three vehicles in the parking lot were also damaged.
