Police Searching for Suspect who Shot Two Victims Leaving a Gas Station

Location: 1815 W. Waters Ave. - Marathon Gas Station

Date/Time: 01-27-11, 10:57 p.m.

Victim #1- Johnson, Percy B/M, DOB: 5-8-92
Shot in the Right Eye, transported to St. Josephs Hospital.

Victim #2- Bigio, Keila H/F, DOB: 9-13-89
Minor Injuries.

Suspect Description:
Male, unknown race, wearing black shoes with white trim, blue jeans, and a black hoody style sweatshirt with a large white design on the back.  He is armed with a gun.


Details:

The suspect attempted to gain entry into the victim's vehicle as he was leaving the Marathon Gas Station. The victim was able to lock his doors and began backing out of the parking space away from the suspect. At which time, the suspect fired at least one round into the vehicle striking the victim #1, in the right eye. The bullet also grazed the passenger in the vehicle. Both victims' were transported to local hospitals and injuries do not appear to be life threatening. The suspect fled the scene on foot.

Detectives responded to the scene and are conducting their investigation. There are no arrests to report at this time.
