Police Working to Identify Armed Suspects in Wig Shop Robbery

DATE/TIME: November 21, 2011 at 7:50 p.m.

LOCATION: Sory’s Wigs and Fashion, 8000 North Armenia Avenue, Tampa

SUSPECT #1: B/M, 18-25 years old, 5’6”-5’8”, 160 lbs, wearing a dark bandana over face, dark jacket with hood, white socks, black sandals and a New York Yankees ball cap

SUSPECT #2: H/M, 18-25 years old, 5’6’-5’8”, 160-170 lbs, wearing a dark ski mask, gloves, dark jacket with hood over head, dark shorts, white tube socks pulled high, white tennis shoes.

SUSPECT #3: H/M, 18-25 years old, 5’10”-6’0”, 140-155 lbs, wearing a skeleton mask, dark jacket with hood and logo on left side of chest, dark pants, black tennis shoes.


Tampa Police detectives are searching for three men who robbed a fashion store owner at gunpoint on November 21, 2011. The men walked into the shop around 7:50 p.m. wearing masks to cover up their faces. The suspects aimed guns at the store owner and demanded money from the register. They fled the scene on foot with cash and electronic items.
