Public Meeting Notice: Bayshore Boulevard – Buffered Bicycle Lanes and Traffic Calming Restriping Project (Hawthorne Road to Platt Street, Northbound); (South Rome Avenue to Platt Street, Southbound)

The City of Tampa Transportation and Stormwater Services Department will conduct a public information meeting for the Bayshore Boulevard Buffered Bicycle Lanes and Traffic Calming Project.  The proposed signing and pavement markings enhancements will improve the safety and traffic flow for motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians.  See enclosed project fact sheet for more information.

The public meeting will allow interested persons the opportunity to view and comment on the plans anytime between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.  There will not be a formal presentation; however, city staff will be available to answer any questions regarding the proposed enhancements.  The meeting details are as follows:

Day/Time: Thursday, February 23, 2017

Time: Between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

The project is currently in design and construction is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2017.
