Suspects Arrested After Restaurant Robbery

SUSPECT 1: Devin Smith, 7/1/1987
CHARGES: Armed Robbery, Fleeing to Elude, Driving with a Suspended License

SUSPECT 2: Alexander Jackson, 8/4/1991, 3701 Darwin Avenue North, Tampa
CHARGES: Armed Robbery, Carrying a Concealed Firearm, Felon in Possession of a Firearm

SUSPECT 3: Darrel Poole, 12/9/1988, 1256 113th Avenue, Tampa
CHARGES: Armed Robbery, Carrying a Concealed Firearm, Felon in Possession of a Firearm

DETAILS: The suspects entered the rear door of the Fodder & Shine restaurant and robbed the employees at gunpoint. One suspect forced an employee to open the safe and remove cash while the other suspects robbed the employees. They took off in a Mitsubishi Lancer. Extra officers were in the area due to a recent robbery pattern and pursued the vehicle. Officers stopped the vehicle and the suspects fled on foot in different directions. Air Service was above on patrol and directed the officers to the suspects. After a foot pursuit, all three suspects were caught. A stolen handgun and the stolen property were found in the vehicle. They are suspects in last week’s robbery of The Independent Bar and Restaurant as well as several additional robberies. The investigation continues.
