Tampa’s Town and Country Water Customers Experiencing Low Water Pressures

Tampa Water customers in an area south of Hillsborough Avenue along Memorial Highway to Carlyle Road are experiencing low water pressures. Water Department employees are working to locate a break.

“Our crews have been on site in Tampa’s Town and Country area since becoming aware of the pressure problem this morning at 6:10 a.m., and we will continue to examine our distribution system to identify and repair the cause,” said Chuck Weber, water department director.

“Residents and businesses in the affected area are not under a precautionary boil water notice at this time.  Although pressures are lower than normal, our technicians have been able to hold system pressure within a safe and appropriate range.”

It is possible that repair work may result in isolated boil water notices. Updates will be provided as additional information becomes available.
