Tampa Businesses & Influencers Partner Together to Shine Light on Local Nonprofits 13 organizations will be featured starting on Giving Tuesday

Tampa, Florida: When Julie Curry (Bake'n Babes) & Stephanie Swanz (Empamamas) got together to discuss what they could do for the community this holiday season, Hello Tampa (www.hellotampa.org) started to come to life. They have partnered with other local businesses & social media influencers to "shine light on local" beginning on Tuesday, December 4th. Over the next 13 days, 13 nonprofits will be highlighted by local influencers acting as social ambassadors to raise awareness for these local organizations. Donations are being collected at www.hellotampa.org and will be split evenly amongst the nonprofits on December 15th.

“We figured, why focus on just one nonprofit?” says Julie Curry, owner of Bake'n Babes. “There are so many amazing organizations in this community and we wanted to shine light on as many as we could. The nonprofits are extremely grateful already and that is what this is really all about, bringing awareness to their causes.”

The 13 nonprofits being featured are:

“It doesn't matter if you can donate $1, $10, or $1,000. Any little bit will help.” says Stephanie Swanz, owner of Empamamas. “If we all gave a little, we'd have a whole lot to give.”

Hello Tampa is looking to continue to grow this program in the future, featuring different sets of nonprofits each time.

Follow along on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/hellotpa/) and Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/hellotpa/) and visit www.hellotampa.org to donate.

Additional organizers include Kaycee Morin of BayEdge Media, Kyle Mathews of Beat Nb, Kiera Andrews of This Babe Eats, & Monica Angel of Cure Kids' Cancer Now.

About Hello Tampa: Hello Tampa was created by Julie Curry & Stephanie Swanz to bring awareness to local nonprofits throughout Tampa Bay during the 2019 holiday season. Leveraging the reach of local influencers, each nonprofit will be featured for a day, to educate the community on their mission and programs.
