Tampa Convention Center launces revamped website with improved design and functionality
In a joint effort with the City of Tampa’s Technology and Innovation Department and Marketing and Communications Division, the Tampa Convention Center recently launched a revamped website with improved design, functionality, and user-friendliness. This new website will serve as one of the facility’s most valuable touchpoints, where attendees, planners, and exhibitors can find important information and resources.
Developed in-house, the new website is projected to streamline convention center activity and tourism. As one of the city’s biggest capital assets, the Tampa Convention Center attracts regional, national, and international events to the region. These activities are expected to improve with the new website, as planners and exhibitors can easily access needed forms, submit RFPs, and find other important information.
Convention attendees will also benefit from the new website’s design, which highlights upcoming events and the latest news; including topics like parking, things to do in Tampa, recent events, and more. The Tampa Convention Center’s social media channels are also embedded within the site, making it easy for visitors to interact with the facility.
Lastly, the new website also allows visitors to download an online menu and browse upcoming events at The Sail. Adjacent to the facility, The Sail is a 360° open-air restaurant and bar that is owned by the City of Tampa and operated by Aramark.
The Tampa Convention Center invites everyone to visit the new website to see the welcome video with Mayor Bob Buckhorn, browse the Twitter feed, see the new bathroom renovations, and get a feel for what’s new at the Tampa Convention Center.
