Tampa Convention Center Welcomes Daughters of the Niles



Tampa will welcome the Daughters of the Nile, Supreme Temple for its Annual North American Convention, which is being held June 12-16 at the Tampa Convention Center. Approximately 3,000 attendees will descend upon Tampa for this conference, which will produce nearly 7,200 room nights for an estimated delegate spending of $1.6 Million.

Founded in 1913 in Seattle, Wash., Daughters of the Nile is comprised of 148 Temples throughout the United States and Canada, with more than 39,000 members. Daughters of the Nile is a benevolent international fraternal organization for women of good character, 18 years of age or older, who are related by birth or marriage to a Shriner, Master Mason or a Daughter of the Nile.

Since 1924, Daughters of the Nile has contributed monetary gifts amounting to $40.8 million for the children treated at the Shriners Hospitals. Visit www.donhq.org for more information.
