Tampa Parks & Rec Hosting 7th Annual Family Fun Day

Tampa Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its 7th Annual Family Fun Day at Rowlett Park, 2401 E. Yukon St. 33604, on March 11, 2017 from 10 am to 2 pm.

This unique event will feature a culinary cook-off between representatives of our local first responders, who have been partnered with teenagers representing our Teens Leading Change program.  The Tampa Police Dept., Tampa Fire Rescue, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation will be represented for the cook-off.

In addition to the Cook-Off, there will games, bounce houses, crafts, free food (while supplies last), a bike rodeo presented by the Tampa Police Dept., Free T-shirts for the first 100 kids, giveaways, and 40 community venders on hand.

Our Teens Leading Change (TLC) program will also host a community yard sale, with the profits going to local TLC events and activities.
