Tampa Police have arrested one teen and are searching for a second suspect in the murder of a Pasco man Tuesday evening.  The man and his son arranged to meet with the suspects via Craigslist in an attempt to sell a dirt bike to them.

VICTIM: James Beck, 44, of Holiday (Pasco County)

DEFENDANT: Ramontrae Williams, 16 (DOB: 09-15-2000), has been charged with first-degree felony murder and robbery. His photo is attached.

DATE/TIME: The shooting occurred at approximately 7:03 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31. Williams was arrested late Tuesday.

LOCATION: The shooting occurred at N 18th Street and E 24th Avenue.

DETAILS: James Beck's son posted a notice on Craigslist to sell his dirt bike. After several communications with a potential buyer, he arranged to meet with a possible buyer in Tampa. Both he and his father traveled to Tampa with the dirt bike in the truck bed.

They met with the two young men and it soon became clear that the suspects intended to rob the victims. One of the suspects shot Beck and the suspects took the dirt bike. Beck died of his injuries.

Tampa Police were able to identify and locate Williams and found the dirt bike near Williams' residence. Williams has been charged with first-degree felony murder and armed robbery. The search continues for the second suspect. Detectives have strong leads.
