Tampa Police Officers Arrest Suspect Connected to Anthony Lee's Death

Deandre Tolliver 07/14/89 Lakeland Fl

On 05/28/13 at 1831 hours, the victim, Anthony Lee, was inside the residence located at 3911 E. Genessee Street. During this time, three subjects occupying a dark colored Dodge Magnum arrived at the residence. While two of the occupants stayed inside the vehicle,one exited the vehicle and approached the residence. As the victim Lee answered the door, he was forced inside by the suspect and a struggle ensued. During the struggle victim was shot and as result of his injuries, died.

During the subsequent latent investigation by the Tampa Police Department's Homicide Squad, the suspect vehicle utilized in the offense as well as the owner of the vehicle were identified. Over the course of the next several days, investigation and interviews, enabled detectives to identify a possible suspect as Deandre Tolliver 07/14/89, who lives in Lakeland, Fl. Detectives were able to establish probable cause for the arrest of Tolliver in connection with the murder and on 06/08/13, Tolliver was arrested for First Degree Murder and Armed Robbery. He was subsequently debriefed by investigating detectives and transported to Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office booking facility.

The investigation continues with the attempt to identify additional subjects associated with the incident.
