Tampa Police Officers Arrest Suspect in Sulphur Springs Homicide

ARREST LOCATION: 10911 North Annette Street

VICTIM: Edward Howard Jr., DOB: 6/8/1992, B/M, 2412 East Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard


DETAILS:

Tampa Police officers arrested David Irvin for intentionally shooting a man during a physical altercation. On June 9, 2013 officers responded to 8702 North 13th Street and discovered Edward Howard Jr. lying on the sidewalk. The victim was shot during a fight with Irvin and he died as a result of the injury. Officers issued a warrant for Irvin’s arrest. During an extensive investigation, police officers developed information that Irvin was hiding inside a home at 10911 North Annette Street. Officers made contact with the residents inside the home on June 29, 2013. Irvin surrendered to the officers at the scene and was taken into custody without incident.
