Tampa Police Searching for Bank Robber

Tampa Police officers are searching for an unidentified suspect who robbed a South Tampa bank on July 26 at 4:25 p.m. The suspect entered the Florida Central Credit Union, located at 3333 Henderson Boulevard, and walked up to the counter with both hands in his pockets. When approached the teller and immediately demanded money from the register. The suspect told the clerk that if she didn’t comply that he would shoot her. The female victim gave the suspect money from the bank register. He placed the money in a bag and fled the scene on foot.

No one was injured during the robbery.
