DETAILS:

Tampa Police officers are working to identify a suspect who stole a car from the Pierhouse at Channelside apartments.  The suspect accessed the gated parking garage and entered the victim’s unlocked Nissan Rogue.  A key fob and a key were also left inside the vehicle.  The suspect waited approximately two and a half hours for a resident to exit the gated area so that he could follow behind them in the stolen vehicle.

Officers recovered the stolen vehicle three hours later in the 2700 block of 11th Avenue.  The suspect is still at large.
