The suspect wanted for a fatal shooting in the Sulphur Springs neighborhood on March 20 is now behind bars. Jones was transported to a local hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.
An intensive search for Louis led members of the US Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force and Tampa Police homicide detectives to a rural area in Polk County. After several hours of surveillance, the task force confirmed that Louis was inside a small residence in the middle of an orange grove near the corner of Banks Road & Alternate Highway 27.
