Tampa Solid Waste Department Revises Collection Schedule in Observance of Christmas Day

In observance of Christmas Day, City of Tampa offices will be closed. 

 

  • Commercial and Residential Customers will not receive collection service on Tuesday, December 25, 2018.  The revised collection schedule is as follows:

 

    • Residential customers who normally receive service on Tuesday will receive service on Wednesday, December 26, 2018.  Regular Solid Waste collection service schedules will resume Thursday, December 27, 2018.

 

    • Commercial Customers who normally receive service on Tuesday will receive service on Wednesday, December 26, 2018.  Collection service will continue to run one day behind through Saturday, December 29, 2018.  Regular Solid Waste collection service schedules will resume Monday, December 31, 2018.   

 

  • McKay Bay Transfer Station and Scale House located at 114 S. 34th St., will be closed on Christmas Day (Tuesday, December 25, 2018) and will reopen on Wednesday, December 26, 2018.

 

Christmas Tree Collection Service will occur Monday, December 31, 2018 through Friday, January 11, 2019. In order to receive service, residents must remove all decorations and lights, cut tree limbs to four feet lengths, bundle, and place curbside on their regularly scheduled yard waste collection day.
