Tee up for Tampa's Parks

The 19th Annual Charity Golf Tournament to benefit Tampa's city parks is Friday, October 14 at Rocky Point Golf Course. The cost is $75, which includes green fees, cart, goodie bag, drinks on the course, and lunch.

Play will be begin at 8 a.m. with a Shotgun Start-Scramble format. The tournament will feature prizes for closest to the pin, longest drive, and a $10,000 hole in one. There will also be a silent auction featuring tickets to attractions, restaurants, sports memorial and art in the clubhouse following the awards ceremony.

All proceeds benefit the Friends of Tampa Recreation, Inc., (FOTR) a 501(c)3 organization that supports the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department through fund-raising activities. FOTR provides scholarships to summer camp as well as produces some of Tampa's most memorial events including Tampa's Downtown on Ice, Friday Exra Concert Series and Santa Fest.

Hole sponsorships are available for as low as $300.
