Temporary Impact to Lanes on Brorein Street at Old Water Street

Two westbound lanes on Brorein Street will be temporarily narrowed at Old Water Street for infrastructure and roadway improvements began on January 13, 2017. The lanes on Brorein will reopen on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 6 a.m., weather permitting.

Throughout this scope of work, both travel lanes along Brorein Street at Old Water will remain open to motorists. Pedestrians access in the area will be maintained along the south side of Brorein Street.

Improvements continue on Jefferson Street between Channelside Drive and Brorein Street. It is planned to be reopened in Spring 2017. 

The northernmost lane of Channelside Drive between Florida Avenue and Nebraska Avenue also remains closed. The northern lane of Channelside Drive will reopen in summer 2017.
