Temporary Intersection Closure at Cumberland Avenue and Caesar Street for Roadway and Infrastructure Improvements

On Monday, May 8, 2017, at 9 a.m., the intersection of Cumberland Avenue at Caesar Street will close for roadway and infrastructure improvements. The intersection will reopen May 19, 2017 at 4 p.m. weather permitting.

Cumberland Avenue between Nebraska Avenue and Caesar Street is closed until December 29, 2017

Additionally, improvements continue along Jefferson Street. One (1) northbound lane of Jefferson Street between Brorein Street and Whiting Street is currently closed. The northbound lane of Jefferson Street between Brorein Street and Whiting Street, will reopen, May 10, 2017 at 4 p.m., weather permitting. Jefferson Street between Channelside Drive and Brorein Street is planned to reopen June 23, 2017.

The northernmost lane of Channelside Drive between Florida Avenue and Old Water Street also remains closed. Pedestrians on Channelside Drive between Morgan Street and Old Water Street will be directed to the south side of Channelside Drive. The northern lane of Channelside Drive will reopen in Summer 2017.
