Temporary Lane Closure on Bayshore Boulevard to begin March 2, 2020 for Utility Construction

A portion of Bayshore Boulevard between S Howard Avenue and W Bay to Bay Boulevard will close daily  from 9 am to 3 pm beginning on Monday, March 2, 2020.  A utility contractor will be installing gas service across the outside southbound lane on Bayshore Boulevard to a residence on Bayshore Boulevard between S Carolina Avenue and Rubideaux Street.

One (1) southbound lane on Bayshore Boulevard between S Carolina Avenue and Rubideaux Street will close at 9 am beginning on March 2, 2020.

One (1) southbound lane of traffic will be maintained on Bayshore Boulevard at all times, with delays.

It is anticipated that all lanes on Bayshore Boulevard will be open by 3 pm on Friday, March 20, 2020, weather permitting.

The City recommends using alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.

 

Southbound motorists can use S Howard Avenue/W Morrison Avenue/S MacDill Avenue between S Howard Avenue and W Bay to Bay Boulevard in lieu of Bayshore Boulevard.
