Temporary Lane Closure Bayshore Boulevard May 14, 2020 for Tree Removal

A portion of Bayshore Boulevard between S Rome Avenue and S Howard Avenue will close on Thursday, May 14, 2020 for tree removal. A private contractor will be removing three (3) trees on Bayshore Boulevard between S De Soto Avenue and S Howard Avenue for a new residential high-rise.
The southbound right turn lane on Bayshore Boulevard between S De Soto Avenue and S Howard Avenue will close at 9 am on May 14, 2020.
Two (2) southbound through lanes on Bayshore Boulevard will remain open during construction, with delays.
The sidewalks on the west side of Bayshore Boulevard will be closed during construction. Pedestrians will be detoured to other sidewalks in the area via signage. All lanes on Bayshore Boulevard between S De Soto Avenue and S Howard Avenue will be open to traffic by 3 pm on Thursday, May 14, 2020, weather permitting.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid congestion.
