Temporary Lane Closure on Channelside Drive between Nebraska Avenue and Brorein Street

On Monday, February 6, 2017, at 9 a.m., one (1) eastbound lane of Channelside Drive between Nebraska Avenue and Brorein Street will be closed for roadway and infrastructure improvements. The lane will reopen summer 2017, weather permitting.

The northernmost lane of Channelside Drive between Florida Avenue and Nebraska Avenue also remains closed. The northern lane of Channelside Drive will reopen in summer 2017.

Pedestrians on Channelside Drive between Morgan Street and Brorein Street will be directed to the south side of the Channelside Drive. Pedestrians on Brorein Street between Jefferson Street and Morgan Street will be directed to the south side of the Brorein Street and southbound pedestrians on Jefferson Street will be detoured to the east side of Jefferson Street during this phase of construction. 

Improvements continue on Jefferson Street between Channelside Drive and Brorein Street. It is planned to be reopened in Spring 2017.  Improvements on Jefferson Street between Whiting Street and Brorein Street also continue, and will reopen March 3, 2017 at 4 p.m., weather permitting.
