Temporary Lane Closure on Cypress Street May 4, 2017 for Driveway Apron Construction

(This is a revision to the Traffic Advisory sent out on May 2, 2017)

 

Tampa, FL (May 3, 2017) – A portion of Cypress Street between Lincoln Avenue and Bradford Avenue will close on Thursday, May 4, 2017 to install a concrete driveway apron at 3226 Cypress Street.  This work is being completed by Ron Alderman Construction.  

The eastbound lane on Cypress Street between Lincoln Avenue and Bradford Avenue will be closed beginning at 9 am on Thursday, May 4, 2017 and will reopen by 4 pm on Thursday, May 4, 2017, weather permitting.

Eastbound and westbound traffic will be maintained on the north side of Cypress Street between Lincoln Avenue and Bradford Avenue, with delays.

The sidewalk on the south side of Cypress Street between Lincoln Avenue and Bradford Avenue will be closed during construction.  Pedestrians will be detoured via signage to other sidewalks in the area, during construction. 

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
