Temporary Lane Closure on E 7th Avenue to begin February 19, 2018 for Utility Construction

(This is a revision to the Traffic Advisory sent out on February 13, 2018)

 

Tampa, FL (February 16, 2018) – A portion of E 7th Avenue between 21st Street and 15th Street will close on Monday, February 19, 2018 for utility construction.   A private contractor will install a water line service on the north side of E 7th Avenue for 1910 E 7th Avenue.   The westbound lane on E 7th Avenue between N 20th Street and N 19th Street will close at 9 am on February 19, 2018.

 

E 7th Avenue will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Thursday, February 22, 2018, weather permitting.   

 

The sidewalk on the north side of E 7th Avenue between N 20th Street and N 19th Street will be closed during construction.  Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks with signage.

 

The existing road closure on E 7th Avenue between N 13th Street and N 15th Street is expected to reopen by noon on Monday, February 19, 2018, weather permitting.

 

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
