Temporary Lane Closure of Euclid Avenue to begin December 19, 2016 for Utility Maintenance

Tampa, FL (December 14, 2016) – A portion of Euclid Avenue from Bayshore Boulevard to MacDill Avenue will be closed on Monday, December 19, 2016.  The westbound lane on Euclid Avenue from Bayshore Boulevard to MacDill Avenue will be closed daily from 9am to 3pm starting on December 19, 2016.  The City contractor will be cleaning and lining the existing sewer lines on Euclid Avenue, as part of the Capital Improvement Project.  The Bayshore Boulevard crossover at the intersection of Euclid Avenue will be closed during construction.  The construction work is anticipated to be completed by 3pm on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, weather permitting.

Westbound and eastbound traffic will be maintained on the south side of Euclid Avenue with traffic delays.

 

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
