Temporary Lane Closure of MacDill Avenue for Water Main Construction

 A portion of MacDill Avenue from Gandy Boulevard to Bay to Bay Boulevard will be closed on Monday, November 21, 2016.  The northbound lane on N MacDill Avenue from W Asbury Place to W Fair Oaks Avenue will be closed daily from 9am to 4pm starting on November 21, 2016.  The City contractor will be cutting and plugging the old water main on MacDill Avenue, as part of the Capital Improvement Project.  W Fair Oaks Avenue and W Chapin Avenue intersections will remain open to traffic during construction.  The construction work is anticipated to be completed by 4pm on November 23, 2016, weather permitting.

Northbound and southbound traffic will be maintained on the west side of N MacDill Avenue with traffic delays.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
