Temporary Lane Closure on N 15th Street to begin August 3, 2020 for Utility Construction

A portion of N 15th Street between E 21st Avenue and E Lake Avenue will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Monday, August 3, 2020, for utility construction. A utility contractor will be installing communication conduit on the east side of N 15th Street between E 24th Avenue and E 26th Avenue. One (1) northbound lane on N 15th Street between E 24th Avenue and E 26th Avenue will close at 9 am beginning on August 3, 2020.

One (1) northbound lane on N 15th Street between E 24th Avenue and E 26th Avenue will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.

Sidewalks in the work area will be closed during construction. Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks with signage.

All lanes on N 15th Street between E 24th Avenue and E 26th Avenue will open to traffic by 4 pm on Monday, October 5, 2020, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.

Northbound motorists can use N 22nd Street or N Nebraska Avenue between E 21st Avenue and E Lake Avenue, in lieu of N 15th Street.
