A portion of N 15th Street between E 21st Avenue and E Lake Avenue will close on Thursday, March 1, 2018, for demolition of the former Bodega Grocery building located at 3414 N 15th Street.  One (1) northbound lane on N 15th Street between E 26th Avenue and E 27th Avenue will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on March 1, 2018 to stage demolition equipment and transport vehicles.  The eastbound lane on E 27th Avenue between N 14th Street and N 15th Street will also be closed during demolition.

The sidewalk on the west side of N 15th Street between E 26th Avenue and E 27th Avenue and on the south side of E 27th Avenue between N 14th Street and N 15th Street will remain closed during the demolition of the building.  Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks with signage.

It is anticipated that all lanes on N 15th Street and on E 27th Avenue will open to traffic by 4 pm on Saturday, March 3, 2018, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.  N 22nd Street or N Nebraska Avenue can be used to travel northbound between E 21st Avenue and E Lake Avenue in lieu of N 15th Street.
