Temporary Lane Closure N 22nd Street to begin April 8, 2020 for Monitoring Well Installation

A portion of N 22nd Street between E Palm Avenue and E Columbus Drive will close on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, for a monitoring well installation. An environmental contractor will install a monitoring well by the sidewalk on the east side of N 22nd Street between E 13th Street and the I-275 Westbound off-ramp.

One (1) northbound lane on N 22nd Street between E 12th Street and the I-275 Westbound off-ramp will close at 9 am on April 8, 2020.   

Two (2) northbound lanes will be maintained on N 22nd Street between E 12th Street and the I-275 Westbound off-ramp at all times, during the construction, with delays.

Sidewalks within the work areas will be closed during construction.  Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area at all times.

All lanes on N 22nd Street will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, April 10, 2020, weather permitting. 

The City recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
