Temporary Lane Closure N Armenia Avenue to begin January 27, 2020 for Utility Construction

A portion of N Armenia Avenue between W Sligh Avenue and W Hillsborough Avenue will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Monday, January 27, 2020, for utility construction.  A utility contractor will be installing a communication conduit on the west side of N Armenia Avenue between W Diana Street and W Jean Street. 

One (1) southbound lane on N Armenia Avenue between W Knollwood Street and W Jean Street will close at 9 am on January 27, 2020.

One (1) southbound lane of traffic on N Armenia Avenue between W Knollwood Street and W Jean Street will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.

Sidewalks within the work area will be closed during construction.  Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area at all times.

All lanes on N Armenia Avenue between W Knollwood Street and W Jean Street will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, weather permitting. 

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion. 

Southbound motorists can use N Rome Avenue between W Sligh Avenue and W Hillsborough Avenue in lieu of N Armenia Avenue.  Southbound trucks can use N Himes Avenue between W Sligh Avenue and W Hillsborough Avenue in lieu of N Armenia Avenue.
