Temporary Lane Closure on N Lois Avenue to begin February 13, 2019 for Driveway Construction

A portion of N Lois Avenue between W Hillsborough Avenue and W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 for driveway construction.  A private contractor will be installing a new driveway on the west side of N Lois Avenue for property at 4201 W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard.  One (1) southbound lane on N Lois Avenue between W Alva Street and W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard will close beginning on February 13, 2019.

 

One (1) southbound lane on N Lois Avenue between W Alva Street and W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.

 

The sidewalk on the west side of N Lois Avenue between W Alva Street and W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard will be closed beginning on Thursday, February 7, 2019 through Friday, February 15, 2019.  Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks with signage.

 

All lanes on N Lois Avenue between W Alva Street and W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, February 15, 2019, weather permitting.

 

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.  Southbound motorists can use N Dale Mabry Highway between W Hillsborough Avenue and W Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard in lieu of N Lois Avenue.
