Temporary Lane Closure on N Lois Avenue to begin January 23, 2020 for Utility Construction

A portion of N Lois Avenue between W Cypress Street and W Spruce Street will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Thursday, January 23, 2020 for utility construction.  A communication contractor will be installing communication conduit on the east side of N Lois Avenue between W Green Street and W Spruce Street. One (1) northbound lane on N Lois Avenue between W Green Street and W Spruce Street will close at 9 am beginning on January 23, 2020.

One (1) northbound lane on N Lois Avenue between W Green Street and W Spruce Street will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.

The sidewalk within the construction area will be closed.  Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other available sidewalks at all times during construction.

All lanes on N Lois Avenue between W Green Street and W Spruce Street will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Monday, March 23, 2020, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.  Northbound motorists can use N Dale Mabry Highway between W Cypress Street and W Spruce Street in lieu of N Lois Avenue.
