Temporary Lane Closure on N Lois Avenue to begin September 10, 2018 for Utility Construction

A portion of N Lois Avenue between W Boy Scout Boulevard and W Spruce Street will close on Monday, September 10, 2018 for utility construction.  A utility contractor will be installing utilities on the west side of N Lois Avenue at the intersection of International Drive.  One (1) southbound lane on N Lois Avenue between W Boy Scout Boulevard and International Drive will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on September 10, 2018.

 

The sidewalk on the west side of N Lois Avenue between W Boy Scout Boulevard and International Drive will be closed during the construction.  Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks with signage.

 

It is anticipated that all lanes on N Lois Avenue between W Boy Scout Boulevard and International Drive will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Thursday, September 20, 2018, weather permitting.

 

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.  Southbound motorists can use N West Shore Boulevard or N Dale Mabry Highway between W Spruce Street/W Boy Scout Boulevard and W Cypress Street in lieu of N Lois Avenue.
