Temporary Lane Closure N West Shore Boulevard to begin April 15, 2020 for Utility Construction

A portion of N West Shore Boulevard between W Spruce Street/W Boy Scout Boulevard and W Cypress Street will close on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 for utility construction.  A utililty contractor will install communication lines on N West Shore Boulevard between W Union Street and W Laurel Street. One (1) southbound lane on N West Shore Boulevard between W Spruce Street/W Boy Scout Boulevard and W Union Street will close daily between 9 am and 4 pm beginning on April 15, 2020.

One (1) southbound lane on N West Shore Boulevard between W Spruce Street/W Boy Scout Boulevard and W Union Street will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.

Sidewalks within the work area will be closed during construction. Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area at all times.

It is anticipated that all lanes on N West Shore Boulevard will reopen by 4 pm on Friday, April 17, 2020, weather permitting. 

The City recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid congestion.  Southbound motorists can use N Lois Avenue between W Spruce Street/W Boy Scout Boulevard and W Cypress Street, in lieu of N West Shore Boulevard.
