Temporary Lane Closure N West Shore Boulevard to begin November 26, 2018 for Utility Construction

A portion of N West Shore Boulevard between W Kennedy Boulevard and W Cypress Street will close nightly beginning on Monday, November 26, 2018 for utility construction.  A City contractor will be relocating a reclaimed water main on the east side of N West Shore Boulevard between I-275 northbound on-ramp and the I-275 southbound off-ramp, for the I-275 widening project. 

One (1) northbound lane on N West Shore Boulevard between W Gray Street and the I-275 southbound off-ramp will close nightly at 9:30 pm beginning on November 26, 2018 and will reopen to traffic by 6 am the following morning.

One (1) northbound lane on N West Shore Boulevard between I-275 northbound on-ramp and the I-275 southbound off-ramp will remain open to traffic during construction, with delays.

The sidewalk on the east side of N West Shore Boulevard between I-275 northbound on-ramp and the I-275 southbound off-ramp will be closed during construction.  Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks with signage.

All lanes on N West Shore Boulevard will reopen to traffic by 6 am on Sunday, December 9, 2018, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.  Motorists traveling northbound can use N Lois Avenue between W Kennedy Boulevard and W Boy Scout Boulevard/W Cypress Street in lieu of N West Shore Boulevard.
