Temporary Lane Closure on N Westshore Boulevard to begin January 3, 2020 for Utility Construction

A portion of N Westshore Boulevard between W Kennedy Boulevard and W Cypress Street will close beginning on Friday, January 3, 2020 for utility installation.  A private contractor will be installing communication conduit  on the east side of N Westshore Boulevard between W North B Street and Interstate 275 Eastbound On Ramp.  

One (1) northbound lane on N Westshore Boulevard between W North B Street and Interstate 275 Eastbound On Ramp will close between 9 am and 4 pm on Friday, January 3, 2020.

Two (2) northbound lanes of traffic on N Westshore Boulevard between W North B Street and Interstate 275 Eastbound On Ramp will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.

Sidewalks in the construction area will be closed.  Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks in the area with signage.

All lanes on N Westshore Boulevard between W North B Street and Interstate 275 Eastbound On Ramp will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Monday, March 2, 2020, weather permitting. 

The City recommends using alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.  Northbound motorists can use N Lois Avenue between W Kennedy Boulevard and W Cypress Street, in lieu of N Westshore Boulevard
