(This is a revision to the Traffic Advisory issued on June 12, 2019 and July 30, 2019)

A portion of S Beneficial Drive between Channelside Drive and Knights Run Avenue that closed on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 for private utility construction will be extended.  A private contractor is horizontally drilling conduits under S Beneficial Drive between Channelside Drive and the Tampa History Center and installing a TECO vault on the west side of S Beneficial Drive south of Channelside Drive. One (1) southbound lane on S Beneficial Drive from Channelside Drive to the Tampa History Center closed on June 12, 2019.

One (1) southbound lane on S Beneficial Drive between Channelside Drive to the Tampa History Center will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.

The sidewalk in the construction area is closed during the construction. Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area at all times.

It is anticipated that all lanes on S Beneficial Drive will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, November 8, 2019, weather permitting.

The City recommends using alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
