Temporary Lane Closure on S Lois Avenue to begin January 13, 2020 for Utility Construction

A portion of S Lois Avenue between Henderson Boulevard and W Swann Avenue will close daily between 9 am and 4 pm beginning on Monday, January 13, 2020 for utility construction.  A utility contractor will be installing gas service across S Lois Avenue to a residence on the west side of S Lois Avenue between W Beachway Drive and W Mullen Avenue.  The northbound lane on S Lois Avenue between W Jetton Avenue and W Mullen Avenue will close at 9 am beginning on January 13, 2020.

 

Northbound and southbound traffic on S Lois Avenue between W Jetton Avenue and W Mullen Avenue will be intermittently maintained on the west side of the road at all times during construction, with delays.

 

The sidewalks within the work areas will be closed during the construction.  Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks with signage.

 

All lanes on S Lois Avenue between W Jetton Avenue and W Mullen Avenue will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, January 24, 2020, weather permitting.

 

Northbound and southbound motorists can use S Church Avenue between Henderson Boulevard and W Swann Avenue in lieu of S Lois Avenue.
