Temporary Lane Closure S Lois Avenue to begin October 30, 2019 for Utility Construction

A portion of S Lois Avenue between W Swann Avenue and Henderson Boulevard will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 for utility construction.  A utility contractor will be installing a gas service line across S Lois Avenue to provide service to a residence. The southbound lane on S Lois Avenue between W Estrella Street and W Angeles Court will close at 9 am beginning on October 30, 2019.

Southbound and northbound traffic will be intermittently maintained on the east side of S Lois Avenue between W Estrella Avenue and W Angeles Court at all times, with delays.

Sidewalks within the work area will be closed during construction. Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area at all times.

All lanes on S Lois Avenue between W Estrella Avenue and W Angeles Court will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, November 15, 2019, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.  Southbound and northbound motorists can use S Church Avenue between W Swann Avenue and Henderson Boulevard in lieu of S Lois Avenue.
