Temporary Lane Closure S West Shore Boulevard to begin February 3, 2020 for Utility Construction

A portion of S West Shore Boulevard between W Gandy Boulevard and Interbay Boulevard will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Monday, February 3, 2020 for utility construction.  A private contractor will be installing a sewer connection on the west side of S West Shore Boulevard between W Bay Avenue and W Montgomery Avenue. The southbound lane on S West Shore Boulevard between W Bay Avenue and W Montgomery Avenue will close at 9 am beginning on Monday, February 3, 2020.

Southbound traffic will be maintained in the center auxiliary lane on S West Shore Boulevard between W Bay Avenue and W Montgomery Avenue at all times during construction, with delays.

All lanes on S West Shore Boulevard between W Bay Avenue and W Montgomery Avenue will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, February 7, 2020, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.

Southbound motorists can use S Manhattan Avenue between W Gandy Boulevard and Interbay Boulevard in lieu of S West Shore Boulevard.

Southbound trucks should use S Dale Mabry Highway between W Gandy Boulevard and Interbay Boulevard in lieu of S West Shore Boulevard.
