Temporary Lane Closure Tampa Palms Boulevard to begin May 13, 2019 for Utility Construction

A portion of Tampa Palms Boulevard between Compton Drive (North) and Compton Drive (South) will close daily beginning on Monday, May 13, 2019, for utility construction.  A utility contractor will be installing a gas service connection to a residence on the south side of Tampa Palms Boulevard.  One (1) westbound lane on Tampa Palms Boulevard between Farringham Drive and Compton Drive (South) will close between 9 am and 4 pm beginning on  May 13, 2019.

One (1) westbound lane of traffic will be maintained on Tampa Palms Boulevard between Farringham Drive and Compton Drive (South) at all times during construction, with delays.

The sidewalk on the north side of Tampa Palms Boulevard between Farringham Drive and Compton Drive (South) will be closed during construction.  Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area, during construction. 

It is anticipated that all lanes on Tampa Palms Boulevard between Farringham Drive and Compton Drive (South) will reopen by 4 pm on Monday, May 20, 2019, weather permitting.

The City recommends using alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
