Temporary Lane Closure of W Azeele Street and S Armenia Avenue will begin December 21, 2017 for Building Maintenance

 

Tampa, FL (December  20, 2017) –  A portion of W Azeele Street between S Armenia Avenue and S Howard Avenue and S Armenia Avenue between W Swann Avenue and W Azeele Street will close starting on Thursday, December 21, 2017, for building maintenance.  The eastbound lane on W Azeele Street between S Armenia Avenue and S Moody Avenue and the northbound lane on S Armenia Avenue between W Horatio Street and W Azeele Street will close at 9 am on December 21, 2017.  A private contractor will place equipment on W Azeele Street to replace the roof at the Madison at SoHo condominiums (2421 W Horatio Street).  W Azeele Street and S Armenia Avenue will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm, on weekdays only.

All lanes on W Azeele Street and on S Armenia Avenue are scheduled to be open to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, January 5, 2018, weather permitting.

The sidewalk on the south side of of W Azeele Street between S Armenia Avenue and S Howard Avenue will close on December 21, 2017 at 9 am and will open by 4 pm on January 5, 2018.  Pedestrian access will be available on the north  side of W Azeele Street at all times.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid congestion.
