Temporary Lane Closure W Azeele Street April 2, 2019 for Tree Removal

A portion of W Azeele Street between S West Shore Boulevard and S Lois Avenue will close from 9 am to 4 pm on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 for tree removal.  A private contractor will be removing a tree at 4522 W Azeele Street.  The eastbound lane on W Azeele Street between S Renellie Drive and S Cooper Place will close at 9 am on April 2, 2019.

Eastbound and westbound traffic will be intermittently maintained on the north side of W Azeele Street between S Renellie Drive and S Cooper Place at all times during construction, with delays.

The sidewalk on the south side of W Azeele Street will be closed during construction.  Pedestrians will be detoured to other sidewalks in the area via signage.

All lanes on W Azeele Street between S Renellie Drive and S Cooper Place will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion. 

Eastbound and westbound motorists can use W Kennedy Boulevard or W Swann Avenue between S West Shore Boulevard and S Lois Avenue in lieu of W Azeele Street.
