Temporary Lane Closure W Bay to Bay Boulevard to begin October 31, 2019 for Building Construction

A portion of W Bay to Bay Boulevard between S MacDill Avenue and Bayshore Boulevard will close beginning on Thursday, October 31, 2019 for building construction.  A private contractor will be installing driveways and sidewalks on the south side of W Bay to Bay Boulevard between S Ysabella Avenue and Bayshore Boulevard for the Aquatica Residential Tower at 2900 W Bay to Bay Boulevard. 

 

One (1) eastbound lane on W Bay to Bay Boulevard between LeRoy Selmon Expressway northbound on-ramp and Bayshore Boulevard will close at 9 am on October 31, 2019. 

 

One (1) eastbound lane on W Bay to Bay Boulevard between LeRoy Selmon Expressway northbound on-ramp and Bayshore Boulevard will be maintained during construction, with delays.  The eastbound right turn movement from W Bay to Bay Boulevard onto Bayshore Boulevard will be allowed from the eastbound left turn lane.

 

Sidewalks on the south side of W Bay to Bay Boulevard between S MacDill Avenue and Bayshore Boulevard will be closed during the construction.  Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks with signage. 

 

It is anticipated that all lanes on W Bay to Bay Boulevard will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, November 8, 2019, weather permitting.

 

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
