Temporary Lane Closure W Cypress Street to begin November 27, 2018 for Utility Maintenance

A portion of W Cypress Street between N Lois Avenue and N Dale Mabry Highway will close nightly beginning on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, for utility maintenance.  A City contractor will be cleaning and relining sewer lines on W Cypress Street.  One (1) lane eastbound lane on W Cypress Street between N Church Avenue and N Dale Mabry Highway will be closed nightly from 8 pm to 6 am the following morning beginning on November 27, 2018.

 

One (1) eastbound lane of traffic on W Cypress Street between N Church Avenue and N Dale Mabry Highway will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.

 

It is anticipated that all lanes on W Cypress Street will reopen to traffic by 6 am on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, weather permitting.

 

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.  Eastbound motorists can use W Spruce Street or W Kennedy Boulevard between N Lois Avenue and N Dale Mabry Highway in lieu of W Cypress Street.
