Temporary Lane Closure on W Euclid Avenue to October 2, 2019 for Utility Construction

A portion of W Euclid Avenue between S Dale Mabry Highway and S Himes Avenue will close on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, for utility construction. A utility contractor will be installing a new gas service connection across W Euclid Avenue at the intersection of E Sterling Circle to service 3618 E Sterling Circle.  The eastbound lane on W Euclid Avenue between S Sterling Avenue and S Himes Avenue will close at 9 am on October 2, 2019.

Eastbound and westbound traffic will be intermittently maintained on the north side of W Euclid Avenue between W Sterling Circle and S Himes Avenue at all times during construction, with delays.

The sidewalk on the south side of W Euclid Avenue between S Dale Mabry Highway and S Himes Avenue will be closed during construction.  Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area during construction.

All lanes on W Euclid Avenue between W Sterling Circle and S Himes Avenue will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, November 8, 2019, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion. Eastbound and westbound motorists can use W El Prado Boulevard between S Dale Mabry Highway and S Himes Avenue in lieu of W Euclid Avenue.
