Temporary Lane Closure on W Gandy Boulevard August 14, 2018 for Road Construction

Tampa, FL (August 9, 2018) – A portion of W Gandy Boulevard between Bayshore Boulevard and S Himes Avenue will close on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 for road construction.  A private contractor will be paving one westbound lane on W Gandy Boulevard directly across from 3010 W Gandy Boulevard.

One (1) westbound lane on W Gandy Boulevard between S Quincy Street and S MacDill Avenue will close at 9 am on August 14, 2018.  One (1) lane of westbound traffic on W Gandy Boulevard between S Quincy Street and S MacDill Avenue will be maintained at all times, with delays.

It is anticipated that all lanes on W Gandy Boulevard between Bayshore Boulevard and S Himes Avenue will be open by 3 pm on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.

Westbound motorists can use Interbay Boulevard or W Euclid Avenue between Bayshore Boulevard and S Himes Avenue in lieu of W Gandy Boulevard.
