Temporary Lane Closure W Swann Avenue to begin June 10, 2019 for Utility Construction

A portion of W Swann Avenue between S Dale Mabry Highway and S Lois Avenue will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm, beginning on Monday, June 10, 2019 for utility construction.  A utility contractor will be installing a gas line across W Swann Avenue between S Grady Avenue and S Clark Avenue. The westbound lane on W Swann Avenue between S Church Avenue and S Clark Avenue will close at 9 am beginning on June 10, 2019.

Eastbound and westbound traffic on W Swann Avenue between S Grady Avenue and S Clark Avenue will be intermittently maintained on the south side of W Swann Avenue at all times, with delays.

All traffic lanes on W Swann Avenue between S Grady Avenue and S Clark Avenue will be open by 4 pm on Friday, June 14, 2019, weather permitting.

The sidewalk on the north side of W Swann Avenue between S Grady Avenue and S Clark Avenue will be closed during construction.  Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area during construction.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.

Eastbound and westbound motorists can use W Azeele Street between S Dale Mabry Highway and S Lois Avenue in lieu of W Swann Avenue.
