Temporary Lane Closure on West Shore Boulevard June 1, 2017 for Water Main Construction

A portion of West Shore Boulevard at Cherokee Road will close at 9 am on Thursday, June 1, 2017 for water main construction.  The City’s contractor, JVS Contracting, will be installing a water main connection and repaving at the Cherokee Road intersection.   

The northbound lane on West Shore Boulevard at Cherokee Road will be close at 9 am on Thursday, June 1, 2017.  The construction work is anticipated to be completed by 3 pm on Thursday, June 1, 2017, weather permitting.  

The sidewalk on the east side of West Shore Boulevard will remain be open for pedestrians at all times during construction. 

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid congestion.
